Data export

The Data Export feature in Cisco Spaces helps you to set up automatic export of data as CSV files via SFTP, Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud & Box.

Cisco Spaces captures a variety of data including user acquisition data, user visit data, proximity rule match data, etc. You can easily export this data and use it to make data driven decisions for your business.

Exports are provided as flat files (CSV) that are uploaded directly into customer data centers or cloud over SFTP, Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud & Box. Optionally, this can be transferred over a VPN connection if the destination server is not accessible over public internet. The frequency of the upload can be customized to suit customer requirements and volume of data. This supports fully automated ingestion into customer systems.

Use Cases & Value

The data exports can be used for advanced data manipulation, improved over what is available out of the box within the Cisco Spaces applications. By exporting the data, users can create their own graphs & charts at a variety of time intervals that are most relevant to their business goals. Data can be received via SFTP, Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud & Box.
